We are looking for several Store Sales colleagues for permanent 80–100% positions at Scandinavian Photo Tech Hall at Steen & Strøm, Oslo.
You do not need to know everything on day one. What matters is that you are curious, love meeting customers and want to keep developing your product knowledge and sales skills. You will work with the latest products from leading brands in photography, video, audio and IT for content creators. About the Store Sales role
As a salesperson at Scandinavian Photo Tech Hall, located in the iconic Steen & Strøm in Oslo, you will play a key role in delivering a world-class retail experience. You will guide customers, from beginners to professional creators, across photo, video, audio, and creator technology.
You take initiative, identify customer needs, demonstrate products, and turn customer interactions into sales opportunities. Together with your colleagues, you create a welcoming and inspiring store environment while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Your responsibilities
• Proactively approach customers in the store, identify their needs and close sales
• Demonstrate and sell photography, video, audio and IT products for content creators
• Recommend complete solutions with relevant accessories
• Work with product displays and stock replenishment
• Take part in daily store operations, including customer service, deliveries and order collection
• Contribute to a strong team spirit and a positive culture
We are looking for someone with
• Two years of retail sales experience
• Sales skills covering everything from identifying needs to closing the sale
• A natural ability to connect with customers and provide a personal sales experience
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have
• Product knowledge in photography, video, audio or IT, including relevant accessories
• Hands-on experience in photography, filming, audio production or content creation
• Experience working towards sales targets and tracking your results
• Experience putting together complete solutions with accessories and complementary products
• Experience with product demonstrations, product displays or visual merchandising
