About the Role
As Accounting Manager at Zenvo Automotive, you will lead and develop the accounting function, ensuring that processes, routines, and internal controls support a business with high ambitions and continued growth.
You will have overall responsibility for the accounting function, with a focus on quality, regulatory compliance, and efficient processes. The role is central to creating reliable reporting, operational transparency, and a solid foundation for continued development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including quality assurance of the general ledger, balance sheet, and reconciliations, as well as responsibility for cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets
- accruals, provisions, and other closing-related processes
- statutory reporting, annual reporting, VAT reporting, and tax-related accounting processes in accordance with Danish regulations
- managing relationships and collaboration with auditors and external partners
- developing internal controls, accounting policies, and efficient AR/AP processes that strengthen structure and quality within the accounting function
- supporting budgeting, liquidity follow-up, and working capital-related matters from an accounting and reporting perspective
- supporting the ERP implementation from Uniconta to Business Central, ensuring that finance systems, master data, and reporting structures are aligned with business and compliance requirements
- leading a small finance team of two, with overall responsibility for the ongoing accounting and reporting activities
This is a role where you will combine operational involvement in accounting with building a strong and scalable structure for the future. You will report to the Finance Director.
Who you are
You are a confident and experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership and creating structure, clarity, and quality. You take a pragmatic approach, collaborate effectively with others, and contribute where needed to support the wider business.
To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:
- at least 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a leadership role
- solid experience with Danish accounting regulations
- strong experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- experience across the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, balance sheet, and reconciliations
- solid knowledge of VAT, tax, annual reporting, and statutory reporting requirements
- experience developing processes, creating structure, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a complex business environment
- experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and process improvement within finance
- experience leading, coaching, or coordinating employees
- fluent English, both spoken and written
- driver’s license
It is an advantage if you also have:
- a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
- experience with Swedish accounting regulations
- experience from manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environments

Location and Employment Terms
The role is based at our office in Præstø, southeast of Copenhagen, and employment will be based in Denmark.
We offer a flexible hybrid setup with the possibility to work partly remotely and from our office in Viken, just outside Helsingborg in Sweden.
