We are looking for a service-minded Front Office Night Manager, with a genuine passion for hospitality and a strong sense of responsibility. You are calm, attentive, and confident working independently during night hours, ensuring a safe, smooth, and welcoming experience for our guests at all times. In this role, you will report directly to the Front Office Manager and act as the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift. You are responsible for maintaining high service standards, handling late arrivals and early departures, and managing night-time operations with professionalism and discretion.
As a Front Office Night Manager, you ensure guests feel cared for even during quieter hours, anticipating needs, handling requests, and resolving situations with a calm, solution-oriented mindset. You balance service excellence with operational accuracy, security awareness, and clear handovers to the day team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience & Operations
- Ensure a professional, welcoming and high-quality service for all guests during night hours
- Act as the main point of contact for escalated guest concerns and resolve issues efficiently
- Manage VIP arrivals, late arrivals, and early departures
- Maintain full awareness of occupancy status, special events and operational priorities
- Make operational decisions in the absence of senior daytime management
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure operational accuracy
Leadership & Team Support:
- Lead, support and supervise night team members across departments
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security and technical teams when required
- Provide guidance during unexpected situations and service recovery cases
- Ensure effective communication and clear handovers to the day management team
- Foster a positive, safe and collaborative working environment
- Safety & Security
- Act as the hotel’s emergency leader overnight
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, incident reporting and crisis handling
- Monitor security routines and respond to disturbances or risks
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, local regulations and brand standards
- Administrative & Systems Control
- Verify and complete night audit procedures, reports and postings in Opera PMS
- Review billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Document incidents, guest feedback and operational notes according to procedures
- Prepare daily operational reports for hotel management
Your Profile:
- Previous experience in hotel front office, preferably in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience working with Opera PMS
- Comfortable taking independent decisions and handling responsibility
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving ability
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to handle high workload and complex situations calmly
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
- Comfortable interacting with international guests and navigating cultural differences
- Security- and safety-minded with high integrity and professionalism
