Our business sector is diverse and consists mainly of small companies, as well as larger private employers. In total, there are 1,100 businesses in the municipality. The labor market in Sollefteå Municipality is fundamentally based on core industries such as hydropower production, forestry, and related activities, for example sawmills, transportation, haulage companies, and forest management. This is partly due to investments in I21 and the large service area of Sollefteå Hospital.
