There is a high demand for cooks and chefs in Sweden! If you are planning to go abroad for your next career step and if you want to acquire new experience – Welcome o Sweden!
We are now focusing on the winter season 2024/2025 in the northern part of Sweden. Winter season in the resorts usually lasts between december and april.
There is a range of different restaurants and hotels in most parts of Sweden who are employing people that have some kind of training and at least a couple of years of experience as cook/chef.
You need to be willing to share your knowledge and be open to new influences in cooking techniques and different cuisines, as well as being a team player. You have to be prepared to perform various tasks in the kitchen.
Employers offer both seasonal employment for winter and summer and permantent positions.
To be considered an interesting candidate you will have to meet the following requirements:
· 2+ years of experience
· Vocational training or similar
· English communication skills
The working conditions are beneficial, wage and monetary benefits are determined by Swedish collective agreements, based on your training and work experience. You work 40 hours per week. Could get more and then you will earn accordingly. Employers will, in most cases, offer accommodation at low cost.
