There is a range of different restaurants and hotels in most parts of Sweden who are employing people that have some kind of training and at least a couple of years of experience in this field.
You need to be willing to share your knowledge and be open to new influences in cooking techniques and different cuisines, as well as being a team player. You have to be prepared to perform various tasks in the kitchen, if you are a cook or chef.
As waitress/waiter/bartender you are expected to be able to communicate with guests in English. Swedish is not demanded but of course it will be good to learn for your daily life here if you stay long-term.
To be considered an interesting candidate you will have to meet the following requirements:
· 2+ years of experience
· Vocational training or similar
· English communication skills
The working conditions are beneficial, wage and monetary benefits are determined by Swedish collective agreements, based on your training and work experience. You work 40 hours per week. Could get more but then you will earn accordingly. Employers will, in most cases, offer accommodation at your own cost.
